How does the Mirror X Photobooth work?
Just stand in front of the Mirror X booth and have fun! Event guests have a blast & love their personalized party favors. Our photo booths and photo kiosks have simple to follow touch screen instructions that guide your guests throughout the process. For a typical event, it’s a one touch and go process.
How early do I need to book a photo booth before my event?
We recommend you reserve a photo booth as early as possible prior to your event. This allows us time to plan and design your templates for your events.
Does booking an event require a deposit?
A non-refundable fee of $150 deposit is required to book your event and lock in your date. The remaining balance is due no later than seven (7) days before your event. We accept cash, check, money order, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal.
What is the best location for the photo booth?
The best location for the photo booth is in a high traffic area. This will guarantee that our booth attracts the most attention and delivers the most fun and entertainment at your event.
How many people can fit in a picture?
The Mirror X Booth can take a single, couple or groups depending on the event space.
I do not see a package that fits my event, can I customize a package?
Yes. We can customize and build an entire package that will meet your needs. In addition to our standard packages listed, we have print-less package and all-day package options.
What kind of events can I book the Mirror X Photo Booth for?

Do photos print 'on the spot'?
Yes, your photos print within seconds. Each guest may receive a copy (depending on the package selected), but you also have the option to receive your photo via Email or SMS.
What size are the photos?
Our standard packages always include 2x6 photo strips. However, we also have add-on options which include postcard sized 4x6 pictures or even 8x10 Portraits (subject to availability).
Will someone from 1000 Words Productions be at my event?
Yes. At least one professional and friendly on-site attendant will be there the whole time, assisting your guests as needed and facilitating your experience.
Is there a limit to the number of photos that can be taken at my event?
Absolutely not! Each rental includes unlimited photo sessions during your rental time!
Will I get a copy of all the pictures from my event?
Yes. The event host will receive digital copies of all the event photos. 1000 Words Productions will transfer the photos electronically within 72 hours after the end of the event.
Do my guests have to pay to use the booth?
No. The photo booth rental is all-inclusive and available to everyone at the event. You and your guests can use the photo booth as often as you would like for the duration of the time booked.
Can I add a custom text and/or logo to be printed on each photo?
Yes we can customize your photos to include a custom text or logo to be printed on each photo.
Can a custom sign, banner, or poster be created for the photo booth?
Yes, we can create a custom sign, banner, or poster. We will need at least a 2-weeks to gather all the details to ensure the customization meets your expectations. Any last minute customization may result in additional charges.
What types of props do you have?
We have over 150 types of props of varying themes such as: Wedding, casual, emoji, glasses, stick props and more!
Does the space need internet connection?
The Mirror X only requires an internet connection (WiFi) if pictures are to be emailed or sent via MMS. If no Wifi is available, a portable WiFi Router can be provided at an additional charge.
What if the event is outside of the area? Is there a travel fee?
There will be a travel fee if it is over 40 miles one way, or 80 miles round trip and additional $.50 for each additional mile.
Example: If the drive to your venue is 130 miles round-trip.
50 miles x .50 = $25.00 (trip fee)
Can you service an event on a higher floor?
Yes. Since our photo booths are mobile and portable, we can service higher floors. Based on venue location and logistics, some venues will be charged a delivery surcharge for parking accommodations and/or if stairs/elevator/loading dock is required to access the venue location.
How early do you need access to the space in order to set up AND breakdown the photo booth?
Access to the space (at least) 1 hour-1.5 hours pre-event and post-event for the setup and breakdown.
How long does it take to set up your photo booth?
Depending on the location and layout of the venue, it should take about 45-60 minutes to set up the photo booth.
What if we want to 'pause' operation for a couple of hours?
We can arrange for "idle time" service for a small fee. Please contact us for more information.
What is "idle time"?
Idle time is time during your photo booth rental where you want the photo booth set up, but not in service for guests.
Why would you need idle time?
When you would prefer to have all your guests attention. For example: You would prefer everyone to stay seated during dinner, speeches, the first dance, cake cutting or any other event. Idle time gives you the option to have your booth open and closed at certain times.
Example: Booth Open: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Booth Closed: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Booth Open: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Can you accommodate an outdoor event?
Yes, if weather is permitting. Otherwise, shelter is needed in case of rain or severe wind. Setting up the booth outdoors does require additional work and time.
**NOTE: Please make sure an electrical outlet is available for us to use. If an electrical outlet is not available, the client is to provide a generator or we can provide a generator for an additional charge.
**Outdoor rentals may require additional features in order to accommodate the weather conditions.
Is 1000 Words Productions insured?
Yes, we are insured with a reputable, nationally recognized insurance company. We can provide a copy to you or to the venue with the rental agreement.
How much space is needed for the booth area?
Minimum area of 12'x12' for setup
- Includes space for a 6' table for props, photo booth, and backdrop.
